Drawing with wire workshop, 14th July 10 - 4, Mirfield

Come and create your very own wirework art piece (with a little help from me!)

Taking inspiration from your own images/objects you will learn techniques for working with wire to create three-dimensional, wall mounted, drawings.

You will first draw your design, which will be the template for the wirework. Using wire, pliers, wire cutters and mainly your hands, I’ll show you how to mount your wirework onto foam board or canvas, turning your drawing into a wire work wall piece.

Please bring along photos for inspiration (this could be anything – beach huts, chickens, musical instruments, your garden gate, flowers, tea cups…)

Lunch is not provided, so please bring some with you, or nip out into town and treat yourself. I will provide cake though 😊
